Framer-First Design

I've recently been exploring a Framer-First design process, using only Framer and no other design tools. Obviously for most custom icons, another tool is required, but I find that the Framer placeholder icons do well until custom ones are drawn. The benefit of designing in the same tool you use to design interactions is clear. Iteration is much easier when the membrane between prototype and design mode is very thin. Framer accomplishes this pretty well. This series is going to be an exploration of building an entire app only in Framer. It's going to be loads of fun, I promise!

Start by downloading the Fiber UI Kit from Framer's website. We'll use the status bar from there later.
